Усна традиція — це форма людського спілкування, у якій знання, мистецтво, ідеї та культурний матеріал отримують, зберігають і передають усно від одного покоління до іншого. Передача відбувається через мову чи пісню і може включати народні казки, балади, співи, прозу чи вірші.
