Горгонопси

Горгонопси (Gorgonopsidae) — вимерла клада хижих Терапсид (Therapsida). Існувала у пермському періоді, 265–252 млн років тому. Скам'янілі рештки представників родини знайдені у Південній Африці та Росії.

Опис

Передні ноги зігнуті, задні ноги випрямлені. Великі різці та ікла, заіклові зуби або малі або нечисленні, або їх взагалі немає. Найбільшим представником родини була іностранцевія.
