Серіал фокусується на Тобі (у виконанні Андре де Ванні[en]) та Елізабет (у виконанні Бріджит Невал[en]), двох підлітках, які загадковим чином стали науковими геніями. Тобі Джонсон — звичайний безтурботний учень, що переймається лише домашнім завданням і дівчатами. Елізабет Гок — улюблениця вчителів. Ніхто у школі не любить її, а єдиним, кого вона любить, є Тобі.
